THE Kampala Kids League (KKL) plans to send two teams to defend the Gothia Cup, in Sweden next year.
“We have indicated to the Gothia Cup organisers that next year we will be sending two teams to this youth tournament,” KKL commissioner Trevor Dudley said.
“If sponsorship is forthcoming we shall enter a team or two for the tournament.”
KKL received a message from Gothia Youth Cup tournament director Dennis Andersson who commended the Ugandan youth team.
“During our 28 years we have had teams from 123 nations at the Gothia Cup. In my opinion, very few made the same impact. The team charmed spectators just like other participants,” Andersson wrote.
