THE Organisation of Plastic Processors of India (OPPI) led by J.M Gandhi has expressed interest in setting up a manufacturing plant in Uganda.
They are also interested selling plastic machinery in the country.
The delegation was meeting Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI) on Saturday.
“India has focused its attention to Africa especially sub-Saharan Africa.We now look at Africa as our potential market. We also want to bring this technology here,†Gandhi said.
India produces 3.5tonnes of plastics.
