Alvin Slaughter for Uganda

Alvin Slaughter, a renowned American urban praise singer is coming to Uganda on Friday, October 11. Slaughter, who is coming with his wife and crew, will lead the worship team at Pastor Robert Kayanja’s overnight prayers for the nation on Friday. He will be part the music groups to perform that night. Slaughter’s most popular work in the local Christian circles is his album Revive Us Again. He began singing at national evangelistic crusades and major Christian conferences in May, 1991. Today, he appears regularly on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (re-broadcast by LTV here) and travels all over the world singing, testifying, and exhorting Christians to live passionately for God. “I was told many years ago by a very wise pastor that the most effective worship leaders are those who love to worship,” says Slaughter. He has recorded five albums including God Can and Yes! and most recently, Rain Down with praise and worship music label, Hosanna Music.
