THE chess Olympiad team’s main star Grace Nsubuga is sure of travelling after the group landed four tickets.
Nsubuga is getting set for his fourth Olympiad at the event due in Slovenia from October 25 to November 11.
The highest FIDE rated Ugandan is on the team with Shadrack Kantinti, Stephen Kawuma, Isaac Munanira, Ignatius Wanderema and Emma Mwaka.
Uganda Chess Federation (UCF) secretary Charles Isabirye, said the four tickets came from individuals who he did not name.
At the sametime, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) looks poised to secure a hat trick of league titles after another quality display in Sunday’s action.
