MBARARA — The district has given out 30 exotic heifers worth about sh20m to farmers in the ongoing cattle-restocking programme. The district veterinary officer, Dr. John Barigye, said on Thursday, 15 animals were given to Ngarama sub-county in Bukanga and the other to Kabuyanda sub-county in Isingiro. Barigye said the money was obtained from the prime minister’s office to help in restocking the areas which were ravaged by the 1979 and 85 wars. “We are not yet through,” he said.
