Group 'A' matches of the Senior Challenge Cup have been switched from Dar es Salaam to Mwanza's Kirumba Stadium, kick off November 30-December 14.

CECAFA general secretary Nicholas Musonye said the move followed FAT's disclosure that National Stadium was in a sorry state of disrepair.

He said that semi final and final matches will also be played in Mwanza.

Teams in Mwanza are Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi, Sudan and Eritrea. Group 'B' in Arusha will comprise defending champions Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Somalia and Zanzibar.

National team coaches Paul Hasule and Leo Adraa are no longer sure whether to call SC Villa players or not because of their ever changing tour arrangements.

“I am confused over SC Villa players. I wanted to call them for national duty to prepare for CECAFA,” Hasule, head coach of both the Uganda Cranes and the Kobs said.

“We had not called Villa players to the national teams because they were going to compete in a cash prize tournament in Libya,” said Hasule.

“The trip failed and now some people are accusing us of living out the Villa players.”
