JINJA — The district has released over sh5.3m to women and youth organisations to fight HIV/AIDS. The funds were secured from the World Bank.
JINJA — The district has released over sh5.3m to women and youth organisations to fight HIV/AIDS. The funds were secured from the World Bank. The LC5 chairman, Fred Gume, on friday handed over a sh3.2m cheque to the chairperson of the National Association of Women Organisations in Uganda, Jinja branch, Lovisa Kabuula. A Youth alive group also received sh2.1m. The funds will be used to train women and youth leaders on how to prevent HIV/AIDS spread. Ends
