Be Patient On Federo, Kabaka Tells Baganda

THE Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, has advised Baganda agitating for federo system of governance to be patient because they will get it anytime.<br>

THE Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, has advised Baganda agitating for federo system of governance to be patient because they will get it anytime.
“I have received a lot messages from my people about federo, but I advise all Baganda to be patient because we shall get it anytime,” Mutebi said.
He was on a three-day working visit to Bugerere county in Kayunga district, during which he toured several schools and commissioned a health centre in Baale county.
Mutebi emphasised the need to unite if development is to be realised. He urged religious leaders to work with parents in order to instill morals in their children.
Mutebi warned some Baganda who do not want to take their children for immunisation, saying it was tantamount to spreading disease in the region.
The Kayunga district LC5 chairman, Eng. Steven Dagada, the Bugerere county chief, Misusera Lubwama and Mengo’s minister of local government, Arthur Bagunywa, were present.
Others present were Mengo education minister Chrisestom Muyingo, health minister Neslon Kawalya and the Bishop of Mukono diocese, Paul Luzinda.Ends
