MINISTRY of health state minister Mike Mukula has introduced a scheme where players for the national team Cranes will get free treatment courtesy of the ministry.

All injured players starting with Richard Malinga currently admitted at Mulago Hospital will be treated.
Mukula was responding to the call made by clubs to have government assist in the treatment of injured players.

Esther Mukyala in Jinja adds that players of Top TV FC on Sunday survived death when a bus they were travelling in caught fire.

The players aboard a Christian Life Church bus number UAE 584H were travelling to Iganga for a Nile Special Super League game against Iganga TC when the accident occurred at Nalufenya about 2km to Jinja town at about 12.10 pm.

Another vehicle was hired and the team continued with its trip but lost the fixture 2-1.
Meanwhile, their bus was towed to Nalufenya Police Station.
