INVESTIGATIONS into the suspected ritual murder of an eight-year-old boy whose head was found in a classroom in a city suburb, took a bold step yesterday with the arrest of two people, reports Steven Candia.
Police yesterday remained tight-lipped about any information on the arrests but said the duo were picked up on Thursday night.
Kampala Police chief Ahmed Wafuba (pictured left), yesterday said he did not have the details.
“We don’t arrest people anyhow, but after gathering sufficient evidence,” he said.
The OC CID Kawempe Police station, Remmy Twinomugisha, said, “I don’t have that information now and I am going out to the field.”
The regional CID chief, Moses Sakira, also declined to give details.
