UCB Kitgum House branch has bad customer care

SIR— I am sure anybody who has had the opportunity of paying taxes to the UCB/URA Kitgum House on Jinja Road in Kampala will agree with me that the services offered there are pathetic.

This is a place where the tellers shamelessly leave long queues in front of their booths and go for tea. When they return after 10-15 minutes, they don’t even have the courtesy of apologising to the now-harassed tax payer.
Then waiting for the yellow copy that certifies payment is also another hell in the process.
I am requesting the UCB management to shape up the services of this branch immediately. We are sick and tired of their staff who see customers as an inconvenience and handle them with unprofessional conduct.
