UTTA sets rankings meet

By William Muwonge LEADING table tennis players are getting set for the annual ranking tournament due January 13 to 28. The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) event will be held at Nakasero primary school under UTTA technical advisor Paul Mutambuze. The competition will bring together the best 16 men and eight women players. The event could as well produce new rankings for the country's top names. Julius Omoding is the top seed, Mutambuze is number two while James Kiyimba is the third seed. In the ladies category, Mary Musoke is the top seed. The tournament will be followed by a series of other activities. Ends.
