Presidential aspirant Col Kiiza Besigye has said he is not about to die of AIDS as his opponents are alleging, Titus W. Kakembo reports. Besigye said his supporters should not fear to give him their votes because he still has long to live. "People are saying I am dying of AIDS soon. On FM talk- shows people ask me ridiculous questions. Now one wonders who is the doctor? But don't worry, that is intimidation. I am healthy and here to stay," Besigye said during a consultative meeting at Nsambya Sharing Hall on Sunday. He said he was better qualified in military warfare and management than Yoweri Museveni, so voters should not be intimidated by Museveni's military skills. "Where the guns of war have failed to bring peace, my government will advocate for talks with Kony or any other warring faction in the country," he said. Ends.
