By Edith Kimuli THE Minister for Works, Transport and Communication, Eng. John Nasasira, has asked Ugandan engineers to support President Yoweri Museveni so that development can continue for another five years. Nasasira was addressing engineers at their annual dinner. He said without development, engineers have no work. "When I joined the Ministry of Works, there was an engineer who had one tipper (truck), which he hired out to transport sand and bricks. If there is no development in the country, that is all the engineering you will do," Nasasira said. Nasasira said the positive growth in the country was not by accident, but due to clear government policies and peace in the country. He told the well-attended dinner that this year was a challenge on the political front. "I urge you to participate actively in the elections as voters, mobilisers and candidates, as long as you to do not stand in Kazo," (Nasasira is Kazo MP.) he said. Nasasira, who was accompanied by his wife Naome, also cut a cake to mark his 49th birthday, which fell on the same day. Ends.
