By Titus Kakembo President Yoweri Museveni has said he is ready to relinquish power if defeated in the presidential elections. He said he would go to Rwakitura to tend his cattle, which he had neglected for four decades in his struggle to revive the country. This was during the Spectrum talk-show on Radio One on Wednesday night. He said he would quit and prepare the Movement for the next elections, adding that he would keep the Movement in constant reform to suit the changing times. He said the Movement must remain a good political organ with its customary ability to contain different minds. Talking about his opponent Col Kizza Besigye, Museveni said he had defected from the Movement opting to join DP, which won only 24% in the previous elections. He said Besigye chose the wrong fora to sell his ideas. "All he wants now is to disrupt the Movement by joining the multipartists and use them to grab power. But we do not have genuine political differences. He thinks he is right and I think I am right. If he did not want me to be fielded as the Movement candidate, he should have challenged me through NEC or proposed another candidate," Museveni said. Ends
