LEADERS in Kabarole district have been warned against mixing the on-going presidential campaigns with those of parliamentary and district council, reports Frederick Nyakabwa. Augustine Kayongo, the district council chairman, and Adolf Mwesigye, the MP for Bunyangabu county, made the call at celebrations to mark the NRM victory day on Friday at Kibiito sub-county headquarters, in Bunyangabu. Kayonga and Mwesige, the western region coordinator for President Museveni's re-election campaign, urged those vying for parliamentary seats and district chairmanship to suspend their campaigns until after the March 6 polls. "Let us concentrate on canvassing votes for Museveni," Kayonga said. Museveni was represented at the celebrations by tourism, trade and industry minister Prof. Edward Rugumayo. Ends.
