By Richard Mutumba THE Supreme Court Judge, George W. Kanyeihamba, has said he has not changed his views over the newly-appointed Deputy Chief Justice, Mrs. Laetitia Kikonyogo. "My opinion was different from that of the appointing authority, the President," Kanyeihamba said on Thursday. He, however said he was ready to work with Kikonyogo. Kanyeihamba contested Kikonyogo's nomination as a deputy chief justice, saying she was incompetent and corrupt. He wrote a petition and asked other judges to sign it. The new Chief Justice, Benjamin Odoki, and Kikonyogo, were last week sworn in before President Yoweri Museveni at State House, Nakasero. Odoki and Kikonyogo replaced Sam Waako Wambuzi and Seth Manyindo who retired recently. Kanyeihamba recently resigned as chairman of the Judicial Committee on strengthening integrity and justice following a meeting of judges. Ends
