KKL plans for basketball league in April

The next Kampala Kids League sports season will be a basketball one, with action commencing in April at Aga Khan School and finishing in June.

By Vision Correspondent The next Kampala Kids League sports season will be a basketball one, with action commencing in April at Aga Khan School and finishing in June. All boys and girls aged between 6 and 14 are eligible. Registration Day is to be held this saturday, February 24 from 9.00 am at the Aga Khan School on Makerere Hill Road. Parents should bring children with a sh15,000 registration fee and proof of age. All parents will be asked to volunteer time to help the KKL. Meanwhile a full set of 18 soccer games will be played at the same venue on Saturday as the KKL Football League continues. In the Totos league, 60 Totos continued their new football careers at the Acorns International Pre-School on Tuesday. Shell Red had a great game beating Mirinda Orange 2-0 with goals from Mukasa Bebeto and Cheikh Barry. Pepsi Blue continued their fine form. Goals from Jaimin Shah, Timothy Arinaitwe and Inayat Karmali gave them a 3-0 victory over Shell Yellow. Ends
