Star-Studded Kitante Top

By Douglas Mazune KITANTE Hill School on Saturday won all their matches to lead the inaugural Katumwa Sports Centre Schools Basketball Big league. Star-studded Kitante triumphed over Kabojja SS 45-33, Green Hill 46-39 and Makerere High 46-20 in the opening games of the league at St Mary's College Kisubi to gross nine points. Kisubi defeated Kyambogo College 45-32 and St Peter's Naalya 31-7 to lead group B of the league that has 15 boys and six girls teams. Kisubi are on top in pool B ahead of Kabojja. The league resumes next Saturday at Kabojja SS and end the next day at Vienna Collge in Namugongo.
