THE new Uganda Darts Association (UDA) boss John Kisitu has pledged to iron out wrangles in the body in order to revive the game.

By Samson Opus THE new Uganda Darts Association (UDA) boss John Kisitu has pledged to iron out wrangles in the body in order to revive the game. "I appeal to all darts players to come to the game," said Kisitu in an interview on Wednesday. He outlined youth development and sponsorship as his main priorities. Kisitu, who is also Mukono zone FUFA delegate urged all former UDA members to unite for the development of the sport. Kisitu of Mekong Darts Club was unanimously elected chairman to replace Tom Ochen in a general assembly Saturday. The smooth election at Lugogo was such a rare event for the association that has been dogged with persistent wrangles for the past two years. Johnson Sendagala was elected secretary general to replace the long-serving veteran administrator Gabriel Oloka who had held the post for over two decades. Others in the new team include former executive members Stephen Langol who bounced back as vice chairman and treasurer Milton Omuruga. Members elected to serve on the executive committee are John Opio, Monica Katushabe, John Adubango, David Kawooya and Dimirwanira. Ends
