Mutebi For US Summit In May

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and the Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda are scheduled for the United States next month, where they will address the Royal Economic Summit for Baganda living in the Diaspora, reports Josephine Maseruka. The summit will be held in Texas, The royal couple will be accompanied by a 30-man delegation comprising of Katikkiro Joseph Ssemwogerere, over 10 Mengo ministers and business people who want to advertise their companies. Sources close to the couple however ruled out the possibility of the expectant queen delivering from overseas. A senior Mengo official who preferred anonymity, told The New Vision the delegation will leave the country around May 20, for the summit scheduled for May 24-26. Ssemwogerere will also address the summit on the achievements of the kingdom and the way forward. The summit is aimed at devising ways of developing the kingdom. Ends
