STATE Minister for health in charge of general duties and Serere County MP Max Omeda has been admitted to Soroti Hospital.

By Richard Otim STATE Minister for health in charge of general duties and Serere County MP Max Omeda has been admitted to Soroti Hospital. A close relative said Omeda got high blood pressure and malaria at the weekend while at his home in Olio, Soroti. Efforts to see Omeda at his hospital bed were futile as his guard barred journalists from going closer. The New Vision however learnt that by 7:00pm on Monday, Omeda was still on drip at the hospital and unable to talk. His son, Dennis Omeda, said yesterday that the minister was recovering and would be discharged soon. The Soroti hospital Superintendent, Dr. Bernard Odu, declined to comment. He told the journalists to cross-check with the hospital later. Ends
