By Phillip G. Corry Justin "The Ugandan Destroyer Juuko's recent loss to Mexican Ernesto "Baby" Zepeda, in a North American Boxing Federation (NABF) Super featherweight title defence has opened more doors for the Ugandan boxer according to African Boxing Union official Celestino Mindra. "The sudden withdrawal by International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior lightweight champion Steve Forbes in his title fight was a shock to Juuko," Mindra, who is the African Boxing Union (ABU) ratings committee chairman said yesterday. "But that 5th round knockout is going to make them think he is finished," Mindra said. This he concluded, will give Juuko, who he said lost because he was distracted, a chance to cause a title upset in his next fight. "Forbes was scared of our boy, but that is not the end of Juuko's career he is a brilliant fighter, and he will get another title fight, but his ranking is going to fall," he said. According to Mindra, Juuko could not withdraw from the fight because it would destroy the image of Dan Goosen's America Presents and Showtime Television that beam the fights in the US, "Juuko is a popular figure in the boxing world he is now more recognised after these good showdowns with Floyd Mayweather and Diego Corrales," he said. The Ugandan prize fighter is expected to arrive in the country soon for a short holiday before announcing his next move. ends.
