Nagalama bundled out at Coke schools soccer

THE Coca-Cola National Post Primary Schools Championship title is up for grabs after the holders Nagalama Islamic Institute were shown the exit yesterday.

THE Coca-Cola National Post Primary Schools Championship title is up for grabs after the holders Nagalama Islamic Institute were shown the exit yesterday. Nagalama fell to a 61st minute goal that pushed five time winners Kibuli to the semi-finals due today. Zakaria Lubega, the leading striker with nine, scored the lone goal for Kibuli. Nagalama, who had lost to Hoima's Mandela at the round of 16 on Wednesday, were reinstated after their conquerors were dismissed for having fielded a non-student. Another Mukono side St Joseph Nagalama were pushed to the quarterfinals after Manjasi from Tororo who had won at the earlier round were also thrown out for playing a non student. Nine teams have been dismissed for similar malpractice. St Joseph Nagalama advanced to the last four stage after ejecting King of Kings from Iganga district on post match penalties. St Leo Kyegobe, the 1997 champions from Kabarole district also advanced after ejecting Ngabo. Ends
