Campaign monitors train

LIRA – Campaign monitors in the north last week completed training on election monitoring for the coming parliamentary elections. The one-day training was conducted by NGO Election Monitoring Group-Uganda at St. Augustine centre in Lira. The group coordinator, Paul Asiimwe, urged participants to be impartial during the exercise and to report urgently cases of election malpractice they see in their areas of jurisdiction. Ends
