SIR-I am a Zambian national, currently languishing in a cell at Kampala Central Police Station since August 2000. I was arrested on arrival at the airport, thoroughly investigated on issues mostly political and intelligence before being dumped at Kampala CPS.
I was not physically tortured, but the mental anguish I am suffering is unbearable. My personal documents and property were taken away and I have never seen them again. Justice has not been done to me. You arrest a foreign national on arrival in your country, extract whatever information from him and then forget him for almost a year? Let human rights bodies help, if they bother at all.
