VP Kazibwe Faces Seven Opponents

Vice-President Dr. Speciosa Kazibwe was yesterday nominated to contest the Kigulu South constituency.

By Nathan Etengu Vice-President Dr. Speciosa Kazibwe was yesterday nominated to contest the Kigulu South constituency. Seven other aspirants, four of whom were nominated yesterday, are challenging her. Kazibwe launched her manifesto in which she promised to introduce computer training at model primary schools to be established in every parish in the constituency. "I want our pupils and teachers to be computer literate," Kazibwe told a cheering crowd at Iganga sports ground. Kazibwe arrived at the district council hall at 2:00pm accompanied by information minister Basoga Nsadhu and Mrs. Betty Okwir. Her opponents nominated were Mr. Bisuti Nkwanga, Yona Hastings Ibanda, Kibwika Muyinda and Tenywa Wankandya. Ends
