Rubaga women get pigs, clonal coffee

By James Bakunzi THE secretary for finance and planning Kampala City Council, Mrs. Florence Bagunywa Nkalubo, has donated 12 high-breed pigs and clonal coffee seedlings to women in Rubaga. She handed over the donation at the weekend when she met over 70 women and LCs of the area at a one-day workshop on small scale urban crop faming held at Mengo Primary School in Rubaga Division. The workshop was organised by under the Nkalubo Programme under which 27 women groups have benefited through a series of seminars on commercial cookery, herbal medicine and small scale urban crop faming. She advised them to start small scale farming to generate income. Ends
