JINJA woman MP Ruth Owagage was yesterday nominated to re-contest for the seat.

Patrick Namirengo and Mrs. Ann Nakabira presented Owagage for nomination at Busoga Square at 4:30p.m. Owagage, who is facing two other candidates, asked voters to give her a second chance to consolidate her programmes in the district. Mrs. Ruth Tuma, a teacher, and Irene Mawanda will be nominated today. Meanwhile, Nathan Etengu reports that 23 candidates including three women were nominated to contest the five constituencies in Kamuli district. The district woman MP seat will be contested by Rebecca Kadaga and Irene Kalikwani. Kalikwani was nominated yesterday while Kadaga will be nominated today. In Budiope, Kagaba Kiyimba, Paul Lubowa, Augustine Musana and Tebigwayo Kayizi were nominated. In Bugabula North, Rose Nadiope Kajumbula was nominated to challenge four men, John Magimbi, Ababiri Waigumbulizi, Kaloli Dhizala and Moses Kizige. In Bugabula south, the incumbent, Proscovia Musumba, is facing Albert Abaliwano, Richard Mulondo and Ngobi Katawera, Kamuli district Secretary for Education. In Bulamogi, Wambuzi Gagawala is facing Elizabeth Mwogeza, Michael Amukunyu and Fred Muvuma. Ends
