By Peter Ekarot, Betty Enangu and Reuter Cranes 2 Oserian 2 HASSAN Mubiru will have added incentive to go for the kill against Togo on Saturday, as extra two goals or more will put him on top of the scorers chart in the African Nations Cup qualifiers. The Express Football Club striker, who leads the Ugandan Nile Super league scorers chart with nine goals from ten games, is at four goals, two short of the 2002 Nations Cup leading marksman Etienne Bito'o (Gabon). Andrew Mukasa(2) and Ibrahim Buwembo(1) are Uganda's other goal scorers so far. Uganda, that last qualified for the finals at Ghana 1978, must win and win handsomely to stay in the race to Mali 2002. Togo, that hammered Uganda 3-0 in Lome, just need a point at Nakivubo to put the race beyond Harrison Okagbue's Cranes. The West Africans are coming along with Salou Bachirou with Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock, Yaovi Abalo who missed a penalty for third division side Amiens in their French FA Cup defeat to Strasbourg. Komlan Assignon in Cannes and Djima Oyawole with Louhans-Cuiseaux in France. Others are Adekanmi Olufade with Lokeren in Belgium, Abdelkader Coubadja in FC Lugano in Switzerland, Koffi Fiawoo in Lorient and Yao Senaya with Red Star. Others are Massameso Tchangai with De Graafschap in Holland, Yao Aziawonon with FC Sion, Tadjou Salou and Lantame Ouadja in Servette, Abibou Tchagnao with Basle in Switzerland, Rafael Akakpo in FC Brunei, Malaysia and Cheriffe Maman Toure in Al-Jazira in UAE. More than half of the 16-team field for next January's African Nations Cup finals in Mali is likely to be known after the 13 matches in this weekend's penultimate round of qualifiers. Senegal and South Africa, have already qualified along with holders Cameroon and the hosts. It is the last game in the group for the Ugandans, whose chances were effectively handicapped after Guinea were expelled. Meanwhile, visiting Kenyan side Oserian held Cranes 2-2 in a build-up tie yesterday.
