Mutebi gets chance to turn theory into action

By Peter Ekarot COACHES Mike Mutebi of Simba and Mbale Heroes' Charles Namakola were yesterday selected to attend the September international coaching course in Hennef, Germany. The German Football Federation (DFB) and German Federal Foreign office offered the course. National soccer technical director Guenter Zittel, FUFA secretary Godfrey Kisekka, Uganda Football Coaches Association boss Ben Kitts Omoding and National Council of Sports assistant general secretary John Odyek picked the pair. Key to their selection was they had excelled in locally run courses. Eight coaches Jackson Mayanja, Frank 'Video' Anyau, Sadiq Wassa, Sula Kato, Moses Ndaula, Stephen 'Jesus' Mulinde, Sam Timbe and Godfrey Nyola missed out and await another chance. Ends
