OVER 100 golfers will be in action at the inaugural Harambee Classic tournament on Saturday.

By William Muwonge OVER 100 golfers will be in action at the inaugural Harambee Classic tournament on Saturday. The Kenya golfing community in Uganda has sponsored the 18-hole medal event at Uganda Golf Club (UGC) course, Kitante. Tournament organiser Alex Kobia said, the first set of players will tee off at 8.00am. Kobia said Kenya golfing community is sponsoring the event as a show of appreciation for the hospitality accorded to them by UGC. Several members of the community play golf at UGC. The official, himself a golfer and Country Manager of TV Africa, said they expect an entry of 150 players. Kenyan High Commissioner Magdalene Wambua will tee off the tournament. Ends
