By William Muwonge TWO-time defending champions Luwero lead over 40 districts into the National Post Primary Schools championship July 12-15. The annual competition, from where talented athletes are usually picked, will take place at Hoima's Boma grounds. National Post Primary Schools Sports Association (NPPSSA) secretary Patrick Okanya, said 40 teams were due for action. "An inspection of the ground has already been made, I am satisfied with its condition," Okanya said. Luwero, who swept all three titles to win the event for the second year running, are again the team to watch. The team draws great inspiration from schools powerhouse, Bombo SSS, and took the overall boy's and girl's titles last year. Luwero's talented runners include Catherine Webombesa, the Sports Personality for the year 1998. Webombesa won the 1,500m race last year. Gulu are expected to excel in the field events again after earning points in that section to emerge overall runners up last year. Soroti impressed in the sprints to become third overall. Ends
