By Davis Weddi The Police in Kapchorwa district yesterday netted 15 children who attempted to vote in Tingey constituency, where incumbent Stephen Chebrot is battling for the seat with Lt. Leonard Chemonges. The Kapchorwa deputy Police chief, James Och-aya, yesterday told The New Vision, "We are holding 15 children we got at polling stations claiming they had come to vote." He also said three polling officers were arrested in connection with the process in which the children got voters cards. Ochaya did not mention if some other children had already voted, but said this could affect the electoral process in Tingey county. Meanwhile, Rashid Muzungyo reports that he was assaulted by Kapchorwa woman seat loser Jane Frances Kuka and Chemonges. Ochaya confirmed having recorded the case. Ends
