A CASE in which two Asian brothers are accused of defrauding the agriculture ministry of over sh944m meant for valley dams construction on Wednesday flopped due to lack of prosecution witnesses.

By Hillary Kirya A CASE in which two Asian brothers are accused of defrauding the agriculture ministry of over sh944m meant for valley dams construction on Wednesday flopped due to lack of prosecution witnesses. State Attorney Vincent Wagona told court the witnesses expected were not in court and requested for an adjournment. The defence lawyer, Mr. Abdu Katuntu, was also absent. The case was adjourned to July 27. Peter Fernandes and Babu allegedly defrauded the government by pretending they would construct six dams. Ends
