AMAMA Mbabazi, the minister of state for Regional Cooperation, has vowed to fight anybody trying to commercialize politics in Kinkizi West constituency and in Kanungu district as a whole. Mbabazi, the Member of Parliament for Kinkizi West also cautioned area politicians to stop the politics of intimidation. He was addressing the people of Kihiihi sub-county in Kihihi town last Thursday. He congratulated and thanked the people for re-electing him to Parliament. Mbabazi noted that some politicians in the constituency have been encouraging politics of bribery by buying voters. He said this was illegal and unconstitutional. In his capacity as Chairman Kinkizi Development Committee, Mbabazi also revealed that Kinkizi had developed tremendously. He said through his initiative, the South-Western Uganda water and sanitation project had provided clean tap water to Kihihi town at a cost of sh200m. He hailed the UPE programme for increased pupil intake. Ends
