MBARARA United FC topped the list of indisciplined players during the first round of the Nile Special Super league. The team earned a total of 22 yellow cards and two send off, writes Daniel Saire. Toto Songe from the same club was the most indisciplined player with five yellow cards and a red card. Moses Muyindo also from Mbarara got a red card. Others with red cards are James Kayimba, SC Villa, Noordin Juuko, KCC, Alex Sebitosi, Simba, John Paul Okweny, Chicago, Sam Ayoka, Black Rhino and Kwikwi Samaran, Masaka LC. The league committee slapped a one-year ban on Zazak Lingaya, Haruna Kihogo and Sam Opio of Horizon, Mbarara and Black Rhino respectively for varied indiscipline. The committee also "red carded" KCC's Shaka Okello for having pushed Chicago physiotherapist Edward Kauma. KCC's defender Med Nsubuga followed Songe with four yellow cards and 11 other players earned three. Referees dished out a total of 237 yellow and eight red cards to all the teams. Villa, KCC and Masaka got the least yellow cards of nine, 11 and 13 respectively but the red cards dented their standing. There were 265 goals scored with third placed Express netting the highest number of 37. Villa scored 34 and KCC 29. Bottom placed Black Rhino with just two points, conceded 34 goals - the highest so far. While Kabale's Horizon scored the least goals-just five. Express' Hassan Mubiru led with 16 goals three more than his closest rival Maurice Sunguti of Villa. Ends
