Chebrot Campaign Agent Shot Dead In Kapchorwa

By Richard Muzungyo UNKNOWN gunmen on Thursday shot dead a campaign agent of Dr. Stephen Chebrot in Kapchela village, Kongowo parish in Kaserem sub-county, Kapchorwa district. The sub-county chief of Kaserem, Mr. Swalleh Kadundu told The New Vision the gunmen whose number was not established attacked the agents residence at about 9.30 p.m. Kadundu said the enemy sprayed bullets on Chris Kaplonyi. He said the victim died instantly. He said the gunmen also wounded the wife of the deceased. He identified the woman as Jennifa Siwa Kaplonyi, a resident of the area. and said the woman has been rushed to the hospital. Kadundu said the enemy did not take anything in the homestead. Ends
