THE second round of the Nile Special Super league is set to kick off in the first week of next month.

Ouma Bwire, secretary National Football League Committee said the league had been delayed by the Kakungulu and Hedex tournaments. He said July had been earmarked for both tournaments. FUFA is however yet to come out with the Hedex Cup fixtures. SmithsKlim Becham, the sponsors of Hedex cup have expanded the tournament to involve all teams in the Super league. The sponsor has injected sh150m in the tournament whose winner would get sh22m. r SPORTSMAN Kakungulu Cup knock out tournament that started at the weekend witnessed some three matches not played due to unexplained reasons. NFLC administrative secretary Aisha Nalule yesterday confirmed the preliminary rounds started on false note after Nyendo versus Bbeta match failed to kick off due to lack of playing field and security.
