A born-again Christian on June 3 stood at Kyaliwajala trading centre and started stopping people from going to Namugongo. People responded by insulting him and he survived being beaten by a drunkard. He strategically stood between Kyaliwajjala and Namugongo where most people passed since all vehicles were stopped at Kyaliwajala. He had a big loud speaker through which he blared to people not to go to Namugongo Shrine but instead stop and listen to him. He said that those who were going to Namugongo were simply going to feast on pork and booze. Some people said that he was confused and should be ignored. But one man who was evidently drunk grabbed the microphone from him. When the born-again attempted to get back the microphone, the drunkard wanted to punch him but missed and the born again fled when the drunkard picked a stick. ends
