The Civil Aviation Authority (the “CAAâ€) has initiated a tender process for the selection of a contractor
The Civil Aviation Authority (the “CAAâ€) has initiated a tender process for the selection of a contractor to carry out the destruction of anthills at Entebbe International Airport (the "Tender").
The CAA hereby invites competent and reputable firms to participate in the Tender. Bidders should demonstrate that they have previously carried out similar works and have sufficient resources and equipment for the purpose.
Tender Information
Interested parties may obtain Tender Documents including the Form of Tender, terms and conditions of Tender and, Bills of quantities, from the office of the Corporation Secretary, CAA, upon payment, of a non-refundable bid fee of U.Shs. 100,000. Persons who do not pay-the fee will not be eligible to participate in, the Tender.
Inspection by bidders of the airport premises affected by the proliferation of anthills will be carried out on Thursday, the 2nd August 2001. Only bids from bidders who have carded out this inspection and signed a form to this effect will be accepted.
Tender Submission
Bids in sealed enve1opes clearly marked "Tender for destruction of anthills at Entebbe International Airport†must be submitted by hand to:

Entebbe - Uganda
So as to arrive by no later than 2:30 on 16th August, 2001.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 3:00 p.m on 16th August, 2001.
The CAA is not bound to accept the lowest for any bid.
