Menani wins Nile Special pool

By William Muwonge Bob Menani added another title to his rich collection by winning the Nile Special National pool tournament yesterday. The skilled player beat Mohamed Kazibwe 8-6 games in the highly contested final at DV8 Bar and Bristo. The win earned Menani sh1m and a DSTV set. Kazibwe who gave Menani his biggest challenge ever, walked away with sh500,000. “It was tough, I have never got such tough opposition since I started playing the game,” Menani said. A crestfallen Kazibwe said a lapse of concentration in the final stages cost him the title in the sh30m Nile Breweries sponsored tournament.
