THE Uganda national rugby team that leaves for Cameroon this morning is confident they will win their encounter and qualify for the second round of the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

By Kalungi Kabuye THE Uganda national rugby team that leaves for Cameroon this morning is confident they will win their encounter and qualify for the second round of the 2003 Rugby World Cup. “The morale of the boys is very high, and they are ready to take anything Cameroon can bring against them,” the head coach, Tolbert Onyango said after the team’s last training session at Kyadondo RFC. “After the game against Zambia, they know they can win, and are going to go out and get it,” he said. Uganda plays Cameroon in Douala on Saturday in the last game of Group A. Uganda beat Zambia 21-12 in Kampala, while Cameroon lost to Zambia 24-25 in Lusaka. The team will be led by the union vice-chairman Okello Aliker. Also travelling are secretary Steven Ojiambo. team manager Edward Kitaka and team doctor Sam Guma. Ends
