By James Oloch THE Apac Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Charles Omara Akello, has asked the Ministry of Education to send an independent team to carry out fresh investigations on the cause of the strike at Comboni college. Akello recently told The New Vision he had written to the ministry about the issue. He said he had copied the letter to the Commissioner of Education, the Minister of State for Security and the Lira RDC, Joseph Arwata. He said the reason for the strike must be investigated and the truth ber revealed. Akello said Rupiny in its volume 8 issue, quoted the district inspector of schools as having told the district council meeting that Comboni students had guns. He said the headmaster of the school, Tom Otim, said the students had 14 guns.
