KENYA’S Securicor Service Unit lifted the first edition of the East Africa Inter-City martial arts championship that concluded Saturday in Kampala.

By Fred Nangoli KENYA’S Securicor Service Unit lifted the first edition of the East Africa Inter-City martial arts championship that concluded Saturday in Kampala. Kenyan Jore Juma Omwayo, who captained the team, proved outstanding as he eliminated Uganda’s Sula Semakula to put his team top. Omwayo, who also exhibited skilful tactics in the attack and defence styles, played a pivotal role in downing Uganda’s BMK to second place. Champions Dragon came third. Kenya also collected 24 points, one a head Busia-Kenya to lift another trophy in the kata style, a self-imaginary fight. Participants from six clubs dominated the inaugural meet were Luzira Red Eagles and Yin Yang were shown early exits after loosing in round one. ends
