By Jude Etyang and James Odomel THE owner of Otada coaches, a bus company, who is also the member of Parliament for Kibanda county, Owor Amooti Otada, was yesterday arrested during a wrangle at the Baganda Bus Park. He was briefly detained at the Central Police Station. Owor was picked with three other bus owners and members of the Associated Bus Owners Limited (ABOL), a rival organisation to the Uganda Bus Operators Association (UBOA) who currently manage the park. Business at the park was paralysed for over four hours after the ABOL members led a sit down strike. Others arrested were George William Kanajezi of Kimbugo coaches, Issa Tamale of SBS transporters and Samuel Black of SB coaches. Police spokesman Eric Naigambi said investigations were in progress. The Public relations officer of UBOA, George Mpungu, told The New Vision that ABOL officials parked their buses at all entries and exits of the park blocking other buses from operating. He said ABOL was a rival faction against UBOA and that, ABOL officials had a personal grudge against UBOA because it had won two tenders. Ends
