KCC yesterday walloped Iganga in a loopsided Nile Special Super League game at Saza ground in Iganga.

Badru Senkayi and Abbey Mayanja each struck twice as KCC handed Iganga their worst home defeat in over three years. Morley Byekwaso, Said Abed and Henry Kabeta also scored one each in the match that saw home fans who could not stand the humiliation storm out of the stadium prematurely. Poor goalkeeping by Musa Lukungu was all KCC capitalised to demolish the hosts. Iganga who missed the services of dependable defender Simon Massa failed to make any purposeful move in the entire 90 minutes. In Lira, Geoffrey Oweka and Alex Isabirye scored in the second half as SCOUL rallied from a goal down to defeat relegation bound Rhino at Akibua stadium. Willy Edong had earlier given Rhino the lead after 27 minutes in the game attended by a capacity crowd. SCOUL coach Leo Adra said it was a hard-earned away win. David Kalungi and Musa Kafero struck a goal each for Simba as the army side sank Rock Star in Tororo. Kalungi opened the scoresheet through a header, five minutes into the game before Kafero added the second 15 minutes later. Angry Tororo fans attacked their own players Gerald Ssenkungu and Abu Ddamulira whom they accused of letting the team down. Police intervened in time to save the players. r ABDALLA Muhumuza netted a goal in injury time for former league side Nile FC to force a one-all draw against Mbale’s first division Garage FC. ends
