TWENTY-six referees have been summoned for a cooper test on Saturday from where the best would be submitted to Zurich for the 2002 FIFA badges, reports Daniel Saire. The list has all the 17 current FIFA referees. FIFA allocated Uganda seven slots for centre referees and 10 assistants. There are only five centre referees and seven assistants at the moment plus four lady-referees. The referees standing committee headed by FUFA vice chairman (administration) Wilson Tumwine that sat at Nakivubo yesterday, selected 11 people from whom, seven would be picked for the centre role. They are Yusuf Awuye, Arthur Bukenya, Fred Kakooza, Siraj Katono, Haruna Kebba, Mohammed Segonga, Fred Mufta, Muzafar Ziraba, Ali Kalyango, Asaph Katende and Festus Kirumira. The assistants are Asuman Kityo, Fred Wanyama, Ali Tomusange, Nelson Mubanda, Mansoor Kimumwe, David Katabira, Yahaya Kitti, Hillary Kimbugwe, Sam Kayondo and Hussein Bugembe. Lady referees are, Catherine Adipo, Margarate Kubingi, Rose Rwamuyamba and Florence Semambo. Referees commissioner Rajab Kisekka said the test would be held at at Namboole from 8.00am. ends
