Aptech runs over KCC club

Patrick Tabale led Aptech’s squad with three early goals securing their seventh win in the seven-week-old league. Tabale had earlier on Tuesday led his side to victory against Police. He also emerged the day’s top scorer with four goals. KCC’s Francis Komakech and Lamas Okeith followed on in second position with three goals each. First half score was 8-5 in favour of Aptech. Aptech is perched on top the table with 14 points from seven matches. In another game Crescent High School walloped Kawuku 24-18 at Kawuku. Bernard Opoka and Fred Bwire spurred Crescent with six goals each. During first half Crescent was already in the lead at 10-8 against Kawuku. Crescent High School are the defending champions but could lose the title to Aptech following a string of losses in the first round of the league. The champions lie number five on the league table with only four points in four matches. Another team featuring prominently in the league is Prisons with eight points from five matches. The first round ended yesterday when UPDF took on Police and Crescent lined up against Prisons at Bombo and Busega grounds respectively. ends
