Two ISO Men Charged

TWO officers of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO) and a UPDF soldier on Wednesday appeared in court on charges of kidnapping a Kampala businessman.

By Vision Reporter TWO officers of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO) and a UPDF soldier on Wednesday appeared in court on charges of kidnapping a Kampala businessman. The suspects are Geoffrey Tibamanya, 31, and Wilberforce Kyomuhendo, 27, of ISO office in Nakasero and corporal Muhammad Nduga, 30, of Bombo army headquarters. They appeared before Buganda Road Court Magistrate Joshua Maruk. State prosecutor Miriam Akite said the trio abducted the proprietor of M.H Enterprises, Moses Mayiga, on April 14. She said Mayiga was picked from his shop at Kikubo in Kampala and taken towards Wobulenzi. Akite, who said investigations into the case were going on, said the suspects allegedly claimed they had been sent from ISO headquarters to carry out the arrest. Ends
